The IIA India Annual Conference will be held in Chennai during February/March 2023. We also propose to host an international conference in India after several years.

As you know, we are slowly emerging from the virtual scenario and moving towards the physical one. We have all been through an awful time since the pandemic struck in early 2020, impacting the world. It has indeed been an awakening for our profession as well. Tough times call for tough measures, and we all need to buckle up to meet the new challenges. The way our profession has evolved during these two years calls for appreciation. Nevertheless, there is a long way to go! Each of us should contribute our ideas to this process of evolution which is very intriguing.

We Indians are known for our resilience, contributing to our success in any field. Now, our economy is on the mend, and our country has emerged beautifully from the pandemic.

We at IIA India have also started our physical programmes, conferences and other membership activities. We are keenly associated with our Learning Partners to spread awareness about internal audit amongst graduate students and fresh chartered accountants, cost accountants, engineers and other professionals. We plan to open more clubs associated with the chapters and branches this year and will serve as the brand ambassadors for tier-two cities.
